Profile

Argelia Muñoz Larroa is a researcher in the Area of Integration Studies at the Center for Research in North America (CISAN), Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Her research project is entitled “Alternative digital platforms in the United States: industrial organization and regulation.”

She has a PhD in management from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand; an MA in international affairs and a BA in history from UNAM. She was a postdoctoral researcher at the CISAN (2019-2020) and at the Department of Communication Sciences and Design at Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Cuajimalpa (2021-2023). She was also a research visitor at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

She is a professor at the Master’s program in Mexico-United States Studies, UNAM.
